At BulkDrop ("we," "us," or "our"), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our online resale application (the "App"), in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and the California “Shine the Light” law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83). By using BulkDrop, you agree to the practices described in this notice.

1. Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information from the following sources when you create an account, list items, make purchases, or interact with BulkDrop:

  • Directly from You: Information you provide when you create an account (e.g., name, email address, username, optional phone number), list or purchase items (e.g., shipping address, transaction details), or contact customer support.
  • Automatically Through the App: Device and usage data (e.g., IP address, browser type, device type, navigation patterns) and transaction data.
  • From Third Parties: Social media login providers (Google, Facebook, Apple), payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), and shipping services (USPS, FedEx).

Categories of Personal Information

Identifiers (e.g., name, email, username), commercial information (transaction data), internet or network activity (IP, device type, usage), and limited geolocation data (derived from shipping address or IP). Sensitive personal information is limited to encrypted account log-in credentials.

2. How We Use Your Personal Information

  • Business Purposes: Account and transaction management, customer service, fraud prevention, service improvement, legal compliance, internal operations.
  • Commercial Purposes: Marketing and promotions (with opt-out), personalized recommendations.

3. How We Disclose Your Personal Information

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information to service providers such as payment processors, shipping services, cloud storage, customer service platforms, fraud prevention services, analytics tools, or legal authorities, as necessary.

4. Your California Privacy Rights

  • Right to Know: Request details on what we collect and how we use it.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your information, subject to exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: Request corrections to inaccurate data.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not currently sell/share your data, but you may opt-out if this changes.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Info: We only use credentials for permitted purposes.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate for exercising rights.

5. How We Protect Your Personal Information

We use encryption, secure servers, and access controls to safeguard data, though no system is fully secure.

6. Retention of Personal Information

Data is retained as long as necessary for services, compliance, or legal obligations. Account data is removed within 30 days of deletion, except as required by law.

7. Third-Party Links

BulkDrop may link to third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Google). Their privacy practices apply.

8. Children’s Privacy

BulkDrop is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect such data.

9. Changes to This Privacy Notice

We may update this notice to reflect new practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
